How to Reset the RØDECaster Pro ll

When the interface gets jumbled, here's how to put things back to normal.

Step 1

Turn on the RØDECaster Pro ll. The red power button is on the back of the interface.

Step 2

Make sure the first four faders are set to the thick white line. This line indicates that input and output audio levels are balanced. Faders are the sliders on the front of the interface.

To do this, start from the left-most fader and work the right. Place the last two faders at the bottom.

The arrows on the image display where faders should be set.

Step 3

Make sure none of the red or green buttons below the faders are lit up. If they are, simply tap the button to turn it off. These buttons are mute controls and it's important they aren't set to mute the next speaker!

Step 4

Now we need to set the decibels on the faders. Above each fader is a small square button.

Tap on the button and adjust the decibels on the fader settings screen by tapping '+' or '-' until it reaches 50dB. Do this for each of the six faders. Notice the color on the screen highlighting the microphone will change in correspondence to the color of the button you tapped on.

Step 5

While you have the fader settings open, please ensure that each of the first four faders (starting from the left-most fader and working to the right) are set to "PodMic" from the list of microphone inputs.

The first four faders are connected to each of the microphones, which is why we are only targeting those four in this step.

We have provided podmics for the RØDECaster and changing the microphone to something other than "PodMic" may mess with the audio.

Step 6

Turn off the RØDECaster Pro ll by tapping the red power button on the back of the device.
